Some Quick Hits

Gael Kakuta, Chelsea’s French under-20 international starlet, has made a loan move to Fulham for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who had made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Blues so far this season, will add some freshness to Mark Hughes squad, as Hughes looks to move his Fulham side away from the relegation zone.

Sunderland have been granted permission by Italian and European champions Internazionale to talk to Sulley Muntari, the former Portsmouth midfielder, about a possible loan move to the Stadium of Light.

The Ghana international has only made one start in Serie A this season, and handed in a transfer request at the San Siro earlier this month.

Wolves are set to sign Leigh Griffiths, the Dundee centre-forward, in a £150k deal.

The 20-year-old impressed Wolves boss Mick McCarthy during a trial spell at Molineux.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

And finally, Arsene Wenger has played down rumours that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the highly-rated 17-year-old at Southampton, will be joining the Gunners in a £10m deal this month.

The youngster has been a regular in the Saints side this season despite his tender years, scoring 8 goals in 19 games, but Wenger said: “There is no news and I’d be surprised if there will be any,” about a possible transfer.
