Edin Dzeko, the striker whom Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini spent £27m on in the January transfer window says that his best is yet to come at the City of Manchester Stadium.
The Bosnian international scored twice in the 3-0 Europa League win against Aris Salonika last night, taking his tally for City to four, albeit all in cup competition.
However, the man signed from the Bundesliga and Wolfsburg, believes that there is still much more to come from himself, and that he will work hard to prove himself to the City faithful.
“I’m very happy to score two goals for the first time for Manchester City and we are in the next round” Dzeko told ESPN after the victory.
“I think I can play much better.”
“I’m not happy with my last chance in the first half, it’s happened two times in the last two games and I have to work.”
