Man City set up FA Cup semi-final with bitter rivals

Micah Richards leaps highest to score the game's only goal against Reading

A single goal from Micah Richards gave Manchester City an unconvincing 1-0 win over Reading in their FA Cup quarter-final today.

Furthermore, Roberto Mancini’s side will now face bitter rivals Manchester United in the semi-finals.

In the other semi-final played today, Stoke City beat West Ham United 2-1, the winner being drilled home by Danny Higginbotham.

The Potters will meet Owen Coyle’s Bolton Wanderers in the other semi-final.
