Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has heaped praise on his midfield maestro Luka Modric following the Croatian international’s latest outstanding performance at the heart of the Spurs midfield.
Although Spurs were unable to find the breakthrough to beat West Ham United on Saturday at White Hart Lane, the game finishing goalless, the 25-year-old was excellent throughout.
The Croatian has been in scintillating form all season for Spurs, both in the Premier League and Champions League, his performances seeing him linked with a move to both Manchester United and Italian giants Internazionale, and Redknapp was full of praise for his diminutive midfielder.
“Luka’s incredible. He’s on another planet” Redknapp told Spurs offical website.
“You think teams have got good players until you see them play against him and you realise he’s on another level.
“Absolutely top drawer. He’s a fantastic player and a fantastic boy.
“I could sit and watch him play all day.”
